Welcome, I'm Shakati Lorraine, I have been reading astrology books since I was 13. It all started when my best friend, Carla, gave me Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I was hooked, everything connected when I read about myself and my close familial relationships. My great astrological teachers today are Linda Goodman, Liz Greene, Jeff Green, Carol Rushman, Robert Hand, and Marion March and Joan McEvers. There are many more, yet those are the major influences in my life. I have a BA in Religious Studies, minors in Native American Studies and Psychology and two Masters, one in Educational Counseling and the other in Spiritual Psychology. I am also working on completing my PhD. Astrology is a symbolic language that helps us transcend the mundance world and enter in the sacred realm of mystery and possibilities. The first time I had a reading with Shakati was a bit of a challenge for me. I did not want to hear what she had to say about the timing of my next child's birth because I was convinced I'd be entirely too old , LOL. She could not have been more precise with the timing of me finding my soulmate and then having my beautiful child, Liberty.
